I am Kas, the alchemist behind Plant Magician Apothecary - a Mum, Astroherbalist, and Earth Intuitive walking the plant path with deep reverence. My people are of Eastern Europe, Scandinavia, Balkan + Baltic. I was raised in a home where gardening was a living prayer and growing food for medicine was a natural way of life.

From an early age, I had a connection to the unseen realms, being an intuitive and sensitive child with a rich dream life. I would spend hours hiding in trees or talking to the stars, but often felt misunderstood and kept a lot of my experiences to myself. As I grew up, I lost touch with these ways of relating and suppressed some of my innate gifts. Thankfully, plants found me in the most beautiful way, calling me to be in service to them and the people.

My work revolves around deepening relationship with plants + planets, bridging earth and sky and remembering that we are also part of Nature. I am fascinated and forever inspired by all plant magic, alchemy, astrology, and psychology. My garden is my beloved, a living prayer, a place where I speak with God. With my hands in the soil, I find clarity and purpose and where I am reminded of the interconnectedness of all life. Among many beautiful herbs + flowers I tend, I also care for a baneful patch, growing poisonous plants from seed with deep reverence and awe. These amazing and sacred plant allies, teachers have walked with me through many thresholds, deaths + rebirths.

My greatest teachers have been Mama Earth, the Elements, the Plants, and our Celestial Kin. Alongside my lived experience, I’ve deepened my practice through formal and self-guided studies, both in person + online - completing a Level 2 in Nutrition & Health, Astroherbalism, Flower Essence Therapy, Quantum Botanicals and Hatha Yoga Teacher Training (though I chose not to certify, as I didn’t fully align with teaching aspect at the end of the course). I’ve also had the honour of guiding and assisting in many plant spirit ceremonies.

Most of the plants I work with are grown by me or are respectfully wildcrafted or sourced from biodynamic farms. I follow the biodynamic calendar, aligning my planting, harvesting + medicine making with lunar and planetary rhythms. Each potion is crafted in small batches, in harmony with celestial cycles, and infused with reverence, intention + love.
