Face Medicine is back for the second year, in a very small batch. This time, the sea buckthorn berries come through so beautifully, giving a healthy glow to the skin.
This face serum is a whole plant botanical infusion, which means that herbs, flowers, berries + roots has been infused for over six weeks in organic, cold pressed and unrefined oils. Each plant was specifically chosen to nourish, moisturise, restore, rejuvenate + protect the skin. The fragrance of this serum is so yum. I decided to keep it free of essential oils, although there is an option to add a few drops of Orange Blossom and Rose Otto, as requested by some lovely customers, which you can select in the drop-down menu. Personally, I absolutely adore herbaceous fragrances and rarely use essential oils for my skin due to my sensitivity. So much love, hours of research + testing of different oils went into creating this offering. The whole medicine acts as a superfood for the skin, full of vitamins, antioxidants, minerals, and the regenerative + protective powers of plant medicines, known to enhance collagen receptors, while potentially minimising the signs of aging + smoothing fine lines. Formulated for all skin types to restore, deeply moisturise, and nourish tired skin, adding a beautiful, radiant glow without feeling heavy, greasy, or clogging pores.
This serum is rich in vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, omega fatty acids, as well as linoleic and palmitoleic acid, all of which are found in our skin. All plants working together to protect skin integrity, speed up wound healing, and promote cell renewal. Additionally, this serum may also be helpful in soothing and improving conditions such as acne, eczema, and psoriasis, as well as addressing issues related to dry, tired, and flaky skin.
Invitation for use:
Massage on face + neck, morning and evening on clean skin, after a toner or hydrosol. Little goes a long way. I love to use guasha with this serum creating a mindful, self loving beauty routine :) Add couple of drops to your favourite moisturiser. I like to wait 10-15 min for the oil to penetrate my skin before I apply make up.
Some of the plants in this serum have been grown in my garden from seeds + harvested with love, some wildcrafted or sourced from a trusted + ethical source.
