Bleeding Heart Flower Essence

£12.00

Bleeding Hearts are one of the most sweetest + beautiful beings. I have two plants in my medicine garden, each flowered this year with abundance of heart shaped flowers hanging next to each other from a long string with a white tear drop in the middle. It is fascinating that inside of the Bleeding Heart flower, there is another white heart ! Like a heart inside the heart ❤️ Right now they are fading, stems are becoming bare and hollow, sending their energy back into the root, where they stay until following spring and return when the time is right, when the root system, foundation is strong and plant is ready to emerge after a period of descend. The flowers + foliage dies, but the root regenerates.

Bleeding hearts were very supportive during my recovery post op, helping me come back after a period of pain, suffering + dissociation. They are a plant ally for challenging and difficult times. They reminded me that is ok, normal and natural to feel how I felt throughout this process, that time, rest, patience + trust are all necessary for recovery, for  building a foundation (roots) & return when the time is right.

Bleeding Heart is a beautiful ally to help us in navigating grief, loss, pain ~ personal and collective. How many times our hearts have broken while we witness the state of the world, horrors, death, the pain of others, disappointments, sorrow, or when we are facing truths that hurt. They can also be supportive when we feel stuck, bound or controlled by a toxic pattern, unhealthy attachment to a person, situation, mindset or even our own fears that might be holding us back and preventing us from taking action + moving forward with life. They hold us when we move though the grief once we finally let go, reassuring us that feeling heartbroken for the things that once were is also normal and so very human.

Bleeding Hearts helps us turn our eyes inward, journey into the heart, reminding us that we are love, and that love is really our true nature, that once we see the love within ourselves, we don’t have to look for this love outside of us or lose ourselves in another.

I feel like Bleeding Heart would pair so well with Foxglove flower essence 💘 Supportive when it comes to  grief, anger, rage that have not been fully felt esp. in relational contexts. They also guide us to this deep love that can only be felt, as words cannot express it.

How to work with Bleeding Heart ♥️ : Take 2-4 drops under tongue of in water up to 4x/day. Flower essences are intuitive medicines that connect deeply with our emotional + spiritual wellbeing. Therefore, please follow your heart, listen to the whispers of the plants, and engage in practices such as journaling, dancing, or meditating. Whatever feels good for you in the moment is perfect.
