Very special offering with Stunning Three Artemisias: Absynthium, Ludoviciana and Vulgaris, supported by the mighty Rosemary and sacred Marigolds. Second year of crafting Wise Ones and this years fragrance is everything! One of my fav medicines, this hydrosol is derived from the hydro-steam distillation of the above plant allies, distilled using traditional copper alembic still. The colour is stunning! Marigolds essential oil is deeply felt in this years batch. All Artemisias + Rosemary are also deeply felt. Each year of crafting hydrosols is soo unique. Plants are unique weaving their own spirit, magic + wisdom into each offering.

No alcohol has been used in this offering, and it can be applied to the face as a mist or toner, allowing you to choose whichever way you feel most called to use it.
Wormwood is a beautiful plant friend with an intoxicating scent, similarly to Mugwort, which has been utilised for thousands of years in folk magic practices focused on purification, cleansing, and protection. Supportive in opening the gateways of perception + accessing unseen realms, enhancing psychic abilities, and bringing about healing + prophetic dreams. Artemisia Ludoviciana is a sacred plant to First Nation people and has been traditionally used as smoke medicine for cleansing, protection, and purification purposes. I started her from seeds couple of years ago and she has spread abundantly in my garden. I truly love her silvery leaves and the beautiful fragrance she brings. All three Artemisias come as protective plant friends, assisting in clearing dense energy, calming the mind, and inviting beautiful and insightful dreams. This hydrosol is beautiful for visioning but is also supportive in opening the third eye. It is lovely to mist your space or pillows before bed to bring about healing and promote vivid dreams
Rosemary and Marigolds help us remember our ancient wisdom while also bringing focused and awakened energy to our minds. Marigolds are one of my favourite flowers( many faves). I adore their strong, musky, and pungent smell. They grow in abundance, blessing my medicine garden with their vibrant colours and the fragrance that is carried in the air. Marigolds are Sacred to the Mexican people, often adorning altars during the Day of the Dead. It is believed that the scent of Marigolds allows the spirits and ancestors to travel back to Earth, enabling them to commune with their families. For me, Marigolds evoke childhood memories, always flourishing in abundance and self-seeding in my Nana's allotment.
This hydrosol can be added to baths, clay face masks, as face toner + hair rinse, sprayed around + on the body [I love it as natural deodorant too }. Can be used to cleanse floors, altars, crystals, or in any way that you feel intuitively guided to do so.

Hydrosols {latin: hydro meaning water and sol which is solution}: also known as hydrolats, plant waters, or flower waters, are the aromatic water that remains after the process of steam-distilling or hydro-distilling essential oils from plants. During distillation process, steam passes through plant materials, capturing their Spirit, volatile compounds and then condensing back into water, which results in a potent + fragrant water rich in the plant's therapeutic properties.
